On February 24, 1978, officers responded to 30001 Bates Road for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers began checking the area and found Joseph Brandon laying in the driveway and deceased. Brandon was found shot by a 12 gauge shotgun. Brandon did not reside at the residence and his vehicle was found parked along the bottom of the driveway.
