On the morning of December 5, 1985, the body of 65-year old William J. Allen (Bill) was found murdered outside his residence. Bill died as a result of blunt force trauma and the case remains unsolved. Bill was a well known fur trader in Marion County. Anyone with information is encouraged to submit a tip.
