Faud Alabsi

Details

On 02/28/1997, the Lakewood Police Department responded to 15010 Madison Avenue (Apartment #206) on the report that a male was found unresponsive inside his apartment. Officers investigating at the scene were able to determine that the resident, an Iraqi male named Faud Alabsi, who was 34 years old, had been shot several times and was dead at the scene. Faud Alabsi was recently separated from his wife, Hilda Hamdallah, a 20 year old female of Palestinian descent. Faud Alabsi was last seen on 02/27/1997 when he was dropped off by a friend at this apartment around 11:30 P.M. Residents upon being interviewed indicated that shortly after Alabsi arrived home, there was some yelling heard from within the apartment followed by "popping" noises which were later associated with gunshots wounds sustained by the victim. It is believed that the victim's killer(s) were laying in wait inside the apartment and had access via a key for the apartment. The Lakewood Police are asking that anyone with knowledge of the killer and or his associates to please submit a tip.
