Kyle Kern

Kyle serves as a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Public Utilities Division of the Ohio Attorney General.  Kyle began her law career in private practice in the insurance defense industry in 2008.  From 2010 through 2016, she was an Assistant Consumers’ Counsel for the Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, where she litigated a number of complex utility matters on behalf of residential utility customers before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.  While Assistant Consumers’ Counsel, she focused primarily on energy resource planning and energy efficiency portfolio cases.  Following her practice with the Consumers’ Counsel, she returned to private practice where she ran a solo-practice, Kern Law, focusing on business litigation solutions for her clients.
