Karia joined the Attorney General’s Office in 2018, and works in the Section’s Air unit. Her clients include the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the State Emergency Response Commission. Karia counsels her clients on administrative and civil enforcement matters pertaining to Ohio’s air pollution control and emergency planning laws, and she represents Ohio agencies in state cases and administrative appeals.
She attended Capital University Law School, where she was a member of the Capital University Law Review. She also completed an externship as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Judge Algenon Marbley of the Southern District of Ohio.
Prior to entering the field of law, Karia worked for a large manufacturing company, where she held various roles in engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance.
