Ian joined the Ohio Attorney General’s Office in 2018 and serves as a member of the Environmental Enforcement Section’s Hazardous Waste Unit and Remedial Response Unit. Ian litigates civil enforcement claims in state and federal courts, and administrative proceedings before the Environmental Review Appeals Commission. Ian also works on comments on federal rulemaking, appeals of federal agency decisions, and state rulemaking reviews.
Before joining the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Ian was in private practice at an environmental-litigation boutique in Washington, DC., where he worked on agency, trial court, and appellate litigation in federal courts across the country. While in law school, Ian served as a Judicial Intern to Judge Henry H. Kennedy, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
