Law Enforcement Communications and Physical Control of Special Needs Populations
This 16 hour course will equip the student not only with the ability to effectively communicate with special needs populations but also, how to safely control special needs, pregnant, injured, physically and mentally challenged, emotionally distraught, angry, potentially dangerous suspects from harming other people, officers, or themselves. The course will take the student all the way from observing signs and symptoms to control and cuffing if necessary. All techniques shown are designed to utilize a reasonable amount of force necessary to control the subject in a moral, ethical, legal, tactically sound, medically based way.
Note: Due to the free course cost, meals will not be provided and are the responsibility of the student.
