Warrant Service and Tactical Team Training
This three day course is designed for patrol and warrant service teams which have well defined missions that differ from SWAT mission statements. There will be live fire components featuring shooting on the move, low light and stoppage drills, coupled with transitions to back up/ support weapons, multiple officer response and firing from formations. There will also be force on force training. This course will combine advanced weapon skill sets and team tactics used to support tactical team response in search and arrest warrant service. There will be extended training hours.
Note: Students taking part in this course should be in good physical condition.
Equipment required: Tactical uniform or long sleeve shirt and pants, gloves and eye and hearing protection, all department issued equipment, side arm, holster, three magazines, and magazine carrier, 400 rounds of duty ammunition for sidearm, flashlight, long weapon (either SMG or carbine) with 3 magazines and magazine carrier, sling and illumination device, 600 rounds of ammunition for long weapon, shotgun with sling and light, 50 rounds of buckshot and 25 rounds of slug.
