Commander's Role in a Barricade, Hostage or Suicide Situation
This one-day course provides guidance to command personnel at the scene of a critical incident. Topics include development of agency policies and procedures, scene management from the commander’s perspective, ofﬁcer safety, mutual aid and multi-jurisdictional concerns, ﬂow charting (pro-active and reactive), and media relations.
Note: This program does not train personnel to function as hostage negotiators.
