Linguistic Statement Analysis Technique (LSAT)-Advanced
This program is a continuation of basic LSAT and incorporates the use of computer programs in the analysis process, the analysis and examination of complex statements, and the analysis of transcripts from oral interview and interrogations. LSAT is an effective tool for the detection of deception, and determining the truthfulness and identification of hidden information in a subject’s written or spoken statements.
Prerequisite: Students MUST attend the LSAT - Basic course before they may attend the advanced program. Students are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop computer that has Microsoft Word, a simple four function calculator and statements from past or current cases that might be used as examples in class.
